Police arrest five people in a drug bust in South Central Lubbock.

Around 5:30 this afternoon, police served a search warrant at a residence off 66th Street. Once inside, they arrested five people they believe have been selling crack cocaine from their home.

Narcotics officers, along with the Lubbock Swat Team, served a search warrant on the 1800 block of 66th Street. Lt. Roy Bassett with the Lubbock Police Department tells us his team had developed information that the narcotics were being sold out of that apartment. Four males and one female were arrested, and they collected a small quantity of narcotics and some money.

24-year-old Richard Tamlin, 32-year-old Bobby Dewayne Jones, 40-year-old Marcel McDade, 22-year-old Sergio Kelly, and 24-year-old Billy Ray Westbrook are all charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

Charges range from Class A Misdemeaners to third degree felonies.
