Some local citizens are suing President Barack Obama to dispute his American citizenship.

Penny Kelso and four others, including a patriotic website, filed a lawsuit against Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Howard Dean, and some members of the Washington media.  The more than 180 page document claims Obama was not born in the states and could not have gained citizenship through his mother.  Now they want him thrown out of office, along with the others for treason and failure to adhere to the Constitution.  But local Democrats say this is absurd.

Penny Kelso, Disputing Obama's Citizenship:
"You've got to be 35 years of age or older and you have to have been a natural born US citizen at the time of your birth and that's the part that he does not fit."

Pam Brink, Democratic Chair:
"As citizens, it's our job to always question our leaders, always pay attention and always question them.  I do however think that there is a level of hysterical disrespect."
