Lubbock, TX (Sports Network) - Jarrius Jackson`s two free throws with 14.2 seconds remaining lifted the Texas Tech Red Raiders to a 59-57 victory over the Oklahoma State Cowboys in a Big 12 matchup from United Spirit Arena. Martin Zeno led the Red Raiders (18-11, 7-7 Big 12) with 13 points and nine rebounds, and Jackson added 11 points. Decensae White checked in from the bench and chipped in 10 points for Texas Tech, which has won three of its last four contests. Mario Boggan netted 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Cowboys (19-9, 5-8), and David Monds contributed 13 points. OSU has now lost four straight, and six of the last seven. Despite shooting 52.2 percent from the floor during the first period, Oklahoma State went into the break trailing Texas Tech, 33-27, as an 8-of-12 effort at the foul line provided the Red Raiders with the edge. In the second half OSU managed to stay in the game despite shooting just 36.7 percent from the field, including an eight minute stretch that yielded just one field goal. Texas Tech connected on 44.4 percent of its attempts from the floor and went 8-for-15 from the charity stripe, finally sealing the victory after two missed three-point attempts by Terrel Harris and Boggan in the game`s closing seconds. Oklahoma State was guilty of 13 turnovers during the contest, resulting in 19 Texas Tech points.
