Thousands of folks in Lubbock flock to Jones Stadium on the weekends to watch the Red Raiders.  Many of them travel with small children.

Maria Gregory is one of them, and she has a warning for parents.

Gregory says the architectural gaps in the pedestrian bridge over the Marsha Sharp Freeway are are too large.  She says a small child could fit through the gaps. She also says that possibility is just a catastrophe waiting to happen.

God forbid anything were to happen to anyone or anyone's children. And if I never said anything or never had that concern, I personally would feel responsible that...and take that for the rest of my life. And I don't want that guilt," Gregory said.

Gregory says the situation can be fixed easily with a screen, a small bar, or even just a warning sign for parents.
