Monday, a Lubbock County grand jury indicted a former local pastor.

Pastor Terry Nesmith was charged with indecency with a child.

Court documents say Terry Nesmith' fondled a young girl multiple times between 1993 and 1997. The victim would have been between eight and 12 years old during that time span.  She didn't come foreward until 2006.

Nesmith had been the pastor at the Faith Assembly of God.  A church official said today that Nesmith left the church within the last few months and likely moved away from Lubbock.
