COLLEGE STATION, Texas--Texas A&M, led by junior Acie Law`s 14 second half points, came from behind and beat the Red Raiders, 63-55, in the Big 12 conference opener for both schools.
Jarrius Jackson was the leading scorer for Tech with 21 points. Martin Zeno added 18.
The Red Raiders started strong, shooting for 61% in the first half. Tech led 34-25 at halftime.
In the second half, the Aggies were able to come back on the strength of a 15-2 run. They also scored 13 points off of nine Tech turnovers. The Red Raiders made only four of their 16 shots in the second half.
Tech (8-7, 0-1 Big 12) next plays Baylor on Wednesday at the United Spirit Arena. Tip-off is 7 p.m.
