Alesha Robertson made two free throws with 5.8 seconds, giving the Lady Raiders a 56-55 win over Texas A&M at the United Spirit Arena on Saturday night. LaToya Davis led the Lady Raiders with 22 points and 11 rebounds, her eighth double-double of the season. Erin Grant scored 13. Tech had a double-digit lead on the Aggies in the second half. But A&M went on an 8-2 run to get within two (54-52) of the Lady Raiders. The Lady Raiders committed 22 turnovers, a season high. A&M scored 15 points off of Tech turnovers. In spite of the turnovers, Tech made up for it on the charity stripe. The Lady Raiders were 15-of-18 from the free throw line. Up next for Tech (6-7, 1-1 Big 12) is Baylor on Sunday, Jan. 15th, at the United Spirit Arena. Tip-off is at 2 p.m.
