Red Raiders Hold On To Beat Iowa State, 76-73

After a rough start to the season, The Tech men`s basketball team has won four of its last five games. The latest victim, Iowa State, fell on Saturday, 76-73, at the United Spirit Arena. Jarrius Jackson was the leading scorer for the Red Raiders with 23, while Martin Zeno had 22. Iowa State had two chances late in the game to earn the win. In both cases, Iowa State players were called on fouls. The win was Bob Knight`s 100th since taking over the Tech program. It was also his 864th win of his career. He is now 16 games shy of Dean Smith`s NCAA record. Tech (10-7, 2-1) travels to Austin to take on the Longhorns on Tuesday.
