A car crash at 4th and Elkhart Monday has neighbors wondering what it'll take to get drivers to slow down in that construction zone.

TX DOT started work around 4th Street and the West Loop earlier this month. Folks who live near the frontage roads have seen a couple of accidents like this one. Thankfully, the driver and her two children walked away from this one, but neighbors want TX DOT to make construction lanes easier to see.

"We came out and the vehicle was already upside down with the wheels up, and it was like a dejavu this morning. I'm coming out and as I'm coming out of the laundry mat I heard the bang where it hit and it sounded like an explosion," says Angie Escalante.

TX DOT workers have no plans to lower the speed limit on 4th Street, but they are asking drivers to slow down there.
