A jury will have more time to deliberate on a taser lawsuit against the City of Lubbock.

The jury deliberated for four hours Friday afternoon and still no verdict in this case.

The judge charged the 12 person jury to unanimously answer two questions about Officer Marsh Blackmore's actions before ruling on the City of Lubbock's involvement in this case.

Blackmore once again taking the stand Friday morning, after being rushed to the hospital during questioning Thursday.

The officer testified he had no intentions of hurting L.J. McCallan back in July 2006.

In closing arguments, the plaintiff charged the jury for a "humble" verdict of $20,000 for pain and mental anguish as a result of the tasing.

Deliberations are set to resume Tuesday at 9 a.m.
