He's believed to be with his father Mario Romero, who's wanted by Denver City Police for questioning in his wife's murder. Denver City Police found Mitchell's mother Veronica dead inside their home Thursday. They haven't been able to find her husband Mario since. They do believe he has Mitchell with him, and that's why they've issued an Amber Alert and are asking anyone with information on the boy to call Denver City Police. Authorities tell us tips from the public are the reason Amber Alerts are successful. Erica Ysasaga relied on tips to get her daughter back in 2006. Someone kidnapped Ysasaga's four-day old daughter Priscilla in June of 2006. Ysasaga was reuinted with her child less than two days later, thanks to a tip phoned in to police. She was most grateful those few days for all the community support, and all the phone calls to authorities leading them to an arrest and to bringing Priscilla back home.
"Not sleeping, not knowing nothing, just wondering, hoping that everything turned out good and it did," says Ysasaga.
Mario Romero was last seen driving a maroon Yukon with Texas license plates 43WFX6. If know something about this case call Denver City Police.
