AUSTIN--Tuesday night wasn`t pretty for the Tech mens basketball team. The Longhorns, ranked No. 5 in the country, handed the Red Raiders an 80-46 shellacking at the Frank Erwin Center Tuesday night. A stingy Longhorn defense held Tech to shooting 37-percent from the field. They also forced 19 turnovers. Jarrius Jackson paced the Red Raiders with 21 points. Bob Knight is 2-8 against Texas since coming to Lubbock in 2001. Up next for the Red Raiders (10-8, 2-2) is a trip to Norman to take on the Oklahoma Sooners. Tip-off takes place Saturday at noon. ABC will broadcast the game.
