Alcohol officials say packaged sales inside city limits have caused a few problems.

Sergeant Michael Lockhart with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission says those problems have mainly been thefts inside new stores and they have had to educate new retailers on how to spot patrons buying alcohol for minors.  He says if those new owners can't get it under control, they'll eventually be shut down.

"They have to address those issues.  If they can't take care of them, then we'll have to take care of it and that will involve consequences for them."
