Two days into early voting and already a much higher turnout than past elections.

822 people came out to vote early on Monday.

That's up 58% from 2007.

Tuesday's totals were 1,032 votes cast and that's up 48%

Elections officials believe it's the city bond propositions bringing folks out this election.

"It's always good to see a turnout for any eleciton, but these bond issues mean that people are engaged and they're interested with what's going to happen with their tax dollars," Elections Administrator, Dorothy Kennedy says.

Early voting runs through October 30th and if you can't vote ahead of time, election day is November 3rd.
