Corporal Justin Hibbler hadn't seen his son, Jayden, in nine months.

That's because he's been serving in Iraq with the U.S. Marines.

On Thanksgiving, little Jayden, and the rest of the family were at Lubbock Preston Smith Airport as their hero came home.

After all the hugs and kisses, the Hibblers headed to the in-laws for the first of several Thanksgiving feasts.

"Thanksgiving in Iraq consists of rice and chicken," said Cpl. Hibbler.

Four years and two tours is hard on even the toughest of marines, but especially on his wife.

"Sometimes seeing everybody going out with their boyfriends and husbands and I was just there," said Stephanie Hibbler.

"But I'm glad he's home, and I'm very proud of him. Glad to have him back."

Without further ado, the Hibblers broke bread, and took a moment to say thanks to the men and women serving overseas.

"If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't be able to enjoy Thanksgiving with our families," said Cpl. Hibbler.

"Happy Thanksgiving," said Jayden.
