Heavy drinking may be to blame for a Texas Tech student's death and now Lubbock Police are investigating.

21-year-old Sean Leach was found dead in his 16th Street home Sunday morning by his roommates.

Police tell us that after a night of drinking, Leach apparently passed out on a couch, then fell off, landing on the left side of his face.

We're told vomit was found on the floor around Leach's body.

An autopsy was performed Monday, but it could be 2 to 3 weeks before toxicology results are available.
