There's mixed reaction to last night's Lubbock bond elections.   We spoke with 34th street business owners today who are pleased proposition one was voted through.  They say $43 million dollars for road improvements will only help their business, but a parent's group with a much different reaction to the no vote given to proposition four.  Those folks tell us they're shocked there won't be new soccer fields for the kids.

"I was very upset because I cannot believe people would vote against something that benefits the youth of our city and ya know, both Lubbock and the kids would benefit from this and I just, I can't understand how people would vote against something like that.  It's a tragedy," said Coach Tom Messerschmidt.

Meanwhile, soccer teams will continue playing on the old fields until private funding can be found or there's another bond election.
