We're now up to four possible H1N1 related deaths for Lubbock County, but it seems any 'swine flu' hysteria is being kept in check.

This morning, the health department was ready to dole out 150 doses of the H1N1 vaccine, but instead of running out of the vaccine, they actually ran out of patients to give them to. Only 55 small children were given the vaccine. Obviously, they were expecting a higher number.

Health officials are thinking the age group eligible this morning had something to do with the low turnout.

Beckie Brawley, Health Department: "We only did 6 to 35 month olds this morning. So, if we would've extended that, maybe to older children, we would've had more, i'm sure we would've had more than what we had there this morning."

A second clinic will be next week, they'll be extending the ages eligible in hopes of getting more folks there. So on Tuesday, the 17th, 1 to 4 pm at the Health Department, there will be about 200 doses available for kids 6 months to five years old.
