A man found dead in a South Lubbock parking lot leaves police looking for answers.

Lubbock Police were called to the Boulders at Lakeridge Apartment complex just after 10:00 Wednesday morning.

When detectives arrived on the scene, they discovered the body of 48-year-old Paul Brown in his truck.

We have confirmed that Brown did live in the apartment complex where his body was found.

At this point, it's still not clear how long he had been in the parking lot, but police speculate he had been there for a least a few days.

"We do have some people that detectives need to talk to, now those may be witnesses, may be involved in other ways. We do not have a developed suspect at this point, but those are things that detectives are working on," Lubbock Police Captain Greg Stevens says.

Police are not calling Brown's death a homicide, instead ruling it suspicious at this point.
