November is National Adoption Month and to celebrate, Lubbock held a mass adoption ceremony at the County Courthouse Friday afternoon.

25 children in all were adopted into a 'forever family.'

One of those children was 2-year-old Allie Dickson.

Allie's adoptive parents, Jeff and Mahriah Dickson, already have 11 children.

Nine of them were adopted and the Dickson's say they plan to adopt again.

"Any other family that's thinking about adoption, you don't have to do ten. One is helping, you know, helping a child have a forever family," Mahriah Dickson says.

Each of the children adopted Friday got to adopt their own teddy bear as a reminder of the day they joined their new family.
