Abe Martinez disappeared from his home in Olathe, Colorado back in August. Phone calls telling the Martinez family they had spotted Abe in Lubbock brought them here just a few days ago. Abe's brother-in-law and nephew will spend the next few days posting flyers and talking to folks along 50th Street, where they heard Abe spent his time.
"It feels like you're gonna go around the corner, and there he is. But then you go around the corner and he's not there and it just kinda brings you back down. But we got hope, we're still thinking we'll take him home with us," says brother-in-law Ernest Gallegos.
His family's afraid he has amnesia from hitting his head a few days before he went missing. If you've seen him around Lubbock, you're asked to call the Montrose Sheriff's Office at 970-252-4010.
