The Texas Legislature passed a bill early this year that will require all strip clubs to charge at least five dollars for admission.

That revenue will be collected and used to fund sexual assault prevention programs and health care for the uninsured.

That program is set to start January 1st, 2008.  Strip club owners across the state have sued the Attorney General over the bill.  Owners claim the bill infringes on their first amendment right to freedom of expression.

No hearing has been set for the lawsuit.
