Rally Gets Tulane Past Tech

HOUSTON - A home run by Tulane`s Brad Emaus in the top of the eighth broke a 4-4 tie and lifted the No. 19 Green Wave past Tech on Saturday with a score of 6-4. The Red Raiders at one time had a 4-1 lead after Tyler Reeves hit a three-run home run in the fifth inning. But Tulane came back in the seventh when Cat Everett had a two-run RBI. The Green Wave would push one more over the plate to tie the game. Freshman Miles Morgan started for Tech. He pitched 6 1/3 innings for four runs, eight hits and nine strikeouts. A.J. Ramos (0-1) earned the loss for the Red Raiders. Tech (3-2) wraps up play in the Houston College Classic against Houston at 11 a.m. Sunday at Minute Maid Park.
