Last Second Basket Lifts Oklahoma Past Red Raiders

Oklahoma only hit one field goal in the final eight minutes, but it couldn`t have came at a better time for the Sooners. Kevin Bookout tipped in a missed jumper with 4.5 seconds remaining to help Oklahoma edge Texas Tech , 71-70, on Monday. Jarrius Jackson, who was named Big 12 player of the week Monday, scored 27 points but could not get the game-winning shot to fall in the final seconds. Texas Tech falls to 14-and-13 overall and 6-and-7 in conference. The Red Raiders (14-13, 6-7) visit Oklahoma State on Saturday.
