New hope for Lubbock authorities nealry two years after finding the remains of a teenage boy in Yellow House Canyon. The Department of Public Safety in Austin released a new composite sketch Tuesday. The same artist did this most recent sketch, that did the clay model back in October of last year. At the time, the artist did not have a lot of experience with two-dimensional models and wanted to gain more experience before attempting this most recent sketch. When compared with an original sketch back in October, this most recent drawing appears to be of an older boy. The boy is believed to be between 12 and 19 years old. So authorities are hoping this new sketch will grab the attention of other teens that age who may have known him."There's a chance that there may be someone of the same age group. You know it is a different picture so maybe they can provide us with that information and we can follow up", says Major Don Carter with the Lubbock Sheriff's Department.
If you know anything about who this boy is or what may have happened to him, you are asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 775-1600.
