The victim of Friday night's shooting in a Wal-Mart parking lot is telling his story tonight. Devon Napper says it all started in the Taco Bell drive-thru near 4th and Frankford, just before midnight Friday.

Napper says he felt someone bump him from behind, but the driver drove away. Napper then followed him to the nearby Wal-Mart. That's when the driver started shooting. Napper was hit four times, one chipping the bone near his spine. He says two bullets are still in his body, but he's just grateful to be alive.

Devon Napper, Victim of Friday night shooting: "Pain's just, I think mostly it's just where all the bullets went through the muscles, they're just real tight, and kind of just feel like little needles all over your back. I can't believe he tried to kill me over something that... small."

Napper's family is now offering their own reward of $5,000 in hopes of finding the suspect. That's in addition to what Lubbock Police offer through Crimeline. Police are looking for a dark-skinned man with short spiky hair. The vehicle is described as a newer model, silver 4-door Honda.

If you have any information, call Crimeline, 741-1000.
