Many of the presidential candidates say they have the right plan for the war in Iraq,

but one Lubbock soldier says you don't know the answer unless you've fought on the front lines.

Sgt. Fernando Candanoza cam back home on Tuesday for a two week break from his duties as an army engineer in Iraq.

He told us he's trying to keep up with the presidential races, and is obviously most interested in candidate's plans for Iraq. "You just don't understand unless you've been there.  They can't pull us out now and let everything we've fought for just go away."
Candanoza added that he is most interested in Senator Barack Obama as a possible president.
