19-year-old Mauricio Lopez lost his life in a violent motorcycle crash on Sunday. Witnesses say he was weaving in and out of traffic at a high speed before running two red lights and ultimately crashing into a trailblazer at the intersection of 73rd and Slide. EMS rushed Lopez to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. His two brothers say they were having a Sunday afternoon lunch when they got the call.
And before they even arrived at the hospital they knew, their brother was gone.

"They transferred me to a nurses station and they said there was no need to rush and I turned to my little brother and said he's gone", says Orlando Trevino, the victim's brother. "I just couldn't believe it. It's just unreal.", says Mac Lopez, the victim's brother"

A funeral mass is will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church Thursday at 1pm.
