Bus Evacuation Drills

Riding the bus is now just a little safer for your children.
A new state law mandates all public school students must undergo emergency bus evacuation training at least twice a school year.
Students at Frenship Middle School started that training this morning.
They learned where to find the first aid kit and the fire extinguisher, and how to use the emergency exits and emergency break.
"It's just kind of calming. You'll know what to do should the situation arise," said Dana Ketchersid, the assistant principal.
Frenship will have another drill later this spring.
Starting next year, they'll have one drill in the fall and one in the spring.
