IRVING - It is now official: Terrell Owens is now a Dallas Cowboy. In a story we were the first in the nation to report, Terrell Owens has signed a three-year contract with the Cowboys. The contract is full of incentives and could be worth as much as $25 million. Owens will receive a $5 million signing bonus from Dallas in addition to his $5 million base salary. The deal could make T.O. one of the highest-payed wide receivers to ever play the game. On Thursday, a source with the Cowboys told KLBK-13 that a deal had been reached with the troubled wide receiver and that the Cowboys would make the announcement on Monday. But Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Owens made the announcement on Saturday. "This is America`s Team and I feel right at home," said Owens. "I am a star among stars now." Owens was ran out of Philadelphia after bad-mouthing the Eagles organization and quarterback Donovan McNabb last season. Owens is also remembered for taunting the Cowboys and its fans on the "Texas Stadium Star" while he was a member of the San Francisco 49ers a few years ago. Owens enters his 11th season in the NFL, and will play on his third team in four years.
