LAWRENCE, Kansas -- The Red Raiders got even on Saturday, beating Kansas, 8-6.
By the fourth inning, the Jayhawks had jumped out to a 2-0 lead, before Red Raider bats led to four runs. Kansas would reply in their half of the fourth with three runs of their own to take a 5-4 lead.
Runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings spurred the Tech rally.
Colt Hynes (4-0) got the win for Tech.
The Red Raiders (23-12, 5-5) finish off their series with Kansas on Sunday.
