Camera Committee Votes Down

REDLIGHTCAMERAS-PKG2008-01-22-1201059890.jpgThe Citizens Photographic Traffic Signal Committee voted 4-2 to recommend that the red light cameras in Lubbock be taken down.   The committee's recommendation will be presented to the Lubbock city council next month.  The Citizens Traffic Committee will also meet to vote on their recommendation; that meeting will be February 1st.  The City Council says they will take both committee's opinions into consideration when deciding whether or not the cameras should come down.  The council will hear those recommendations on February 14th.
