Tech Baseball Opens Practice

Like the rest of the country, Texas Tech baseball opened practice on Friday. This coming three weeks later than normal; Tech has opened up their seasons on this weekend each of the past two years.

In order to accomiadate to schools in colder climates, the NCAA pushed back the start of the season this year, forcing back practices and forcing schools to play 4 and 5-games per week this year.

Tech opens the season February 22 with Northern Illinois.
