"I was scared half to death and it was just one of our daily routines," says 9-year-old Jacey Snapp. The daily routine of visiting the 5-S stables to feed her horse "Fiddle", a pig named "Marvin" and "Spot" the goat.
But when it came time to feed Spot there was something missing.
"I'm like dad where are the goats and theres blood everywhere"
Blood spattered wood-- where stray pit bulls had been.
An attack that left Jacey's goat dead.
"The next morning when I heard he was going to have to go, I dont know. It killed me at first because Spot was like a child to me'
And the same held true for grand champion goat, Franklin.
The goat belonging to sixteen-year-old Keelee Blomshield.
"Now coming out here and looking at the goat pin and its completely empty and my favorite goat is not there anymore"
Keelee says her other goats are being boarded in Smyer until these pit bulls are taken care of.
"Just coming out here and thinking about it and seeing the other goat that was trying to make it. It was hard"
The family says it's hard for anyone to rest easy knowing the dogs are still on the loose.
"I'm scared to go outside because I dont want to get hurt"
"I dont want them to get to the horses or little Marvin"
"I hope the owner makes the right choice to put them down. I think its just terrible that they are getting out..terrible."
