The annual Red-Black Game is scheduled for April 19 at 1 p.m. Spring workouts will run on Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and Saturdays for four weeks beginning March 26 and conclude with a brief workout April 21.

The Texas Tech coaching staff will host its annual coaching clinic April 4-5 in conjunction with practices on both days. For more information on this year’s clinic, contact the football office at (806) 742-4260.

The Red Raiders are coming off a 9-4 season, which was highlighted by Tech’s come-from-behind win over Virginia in the Gator Bowl, the fifth bowl win under eight-year head coach Mike Leach. Texas Tech opens the 2008 season August 30 against Eastern Washington in Lubbock.
