Woods became the first player since Tom Watson in 1982-83 to successfully defend his title and ran his record to 11-and-0 in major championships when holding at least a share of the third-round lead.
Woods also tied Walter Hagen for second all-time in professional majors with eleven major championships.
It`s Tiger`s third win of the season and first major since last year`s British Open.
