Lady Raiders Lose Fifth Straight

College Station, TX (Sports Network) - Takia Starks scored 29 points to lead 20th-ranked Texas A&M to a 70-56 win over Texas Tech.

Danielle Gant added 15 points and nine rebounds for the Aggies (18-7, 6-5 Big 12), who didn't trail the entire game and posted their fifth victory in six games. Starks went 12-of-19 from the field, including 4-of-7 from three-point range.

Dominic Seals had 18 points and LaVonda Henderson 12 for the Lady Raiders (14-11, 2-9), who have lost five straight. Texas Tech had 24 turnovers, leading to 25 points for the Aggies.
