Lubbock, TX (Sports Network) - Martin Zeno scored 23 points and dished out six assists to lead the Texas Tech Red Raiders to a 76-64 victory over the Iowa State Cyclones in a Big 12 battle at the United Spirit Arena.
Alan Voskuil added 21 points for Texas Tech (15-11, 6-6 Big12), while Trevor Cook posted 11 points to go along with eight rebounds.
Jiri Hubalek netted 17 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for Iowa State (14-13, 4-8), while Sean Haluska and Bryan Petersen contributed 15 and 14 points, respectively. Craig Brackins chipped in 12 points for the Cyclones, who have dropped five of their last six matchups.
Iowa State shot 46.4 percent from the field in the first half and went into the break with a slim, 33-31 advantage.
The Red Raiders stormed back in the second stanza, netting 50.0 percent of their field goal attempts, while also connecting on 16-of-18 shots from the foul line, en route to the 12-point win.
This matchup was won at the charity stripe, as Texas Tech made 20-of-27 shots from the foul line, while Iowa State connected on just 4-of-9 free throw attempts.
