Lawrence, KS (Sports Network) - Russell Robinson made all five field goals he attempted and finished with 15 points, as sixth-ranked Kansas dominated Texas Tech, 109-51, at Allen Fieldhouse.

Sherron Collins chipped in 13, and Cole Aldrich had 11 points and 11 rebounds for Kansas (27-3, 12-3 Big 12), which temporarily took sole possession of first place in the conference.

The Jayhawks came into the game tied atop the standings with Texas, who fell into that tie courtesy of Texas Tech. The Red Raiders edged the Longhorns on Saturday, 83-80, dropping Texas' conference record to 11-3.

But on Monday, Texas Tech had that momentum completely wiped out, as Kansas outplayed its conference foe in staggering fashion. Kansas shot almost 60 percent from the field (40-of-67) and from three-point range (14-of-24), out- rebounded the Red Raiders 54-24, and set a new season high in points.

Martin Zeno scored a game-high 19 points, and John Roberson contributed 15 for Texas Tech (16-13, 7-8), which shot only 29 percent (18-of-62) as a team. The Red Raiders have lost two of three overall, and wrap up their regular season Saturday against Baylor.

Texas Tech hung in the game for the majority of the first half, and with under seven minutes left, Roberson hit consecutive three-pointers to bring the Red Raiders within 30-22.

But a Collins layup with 6:06 remaining triggered a 21-4 Kansas run to end the half. Robinson had seven points in the span, and Darrell Arthur dunked as time ran out, putting the Jayhawks ahead 51-26 at the break.

Robinson started the Jayhawks' second half with a pair of threes, and not one minute into the period, Kansas had increased its lead to 30, at 57-27.

The rout only worsened for Texas Tech, and with 13:26 remaining, Rodrick Stewart drained a three to push the Jayhawks ahead 71-31.

Then, with under nine minutes left, back-to-back threes by Jeremy Case upped Kansas' lead to 50, at 88-38, and the Jayhawks eased to the finish.

A fastbreak layup by Brennan Bechard put the Jayhawks' total at 109, surpassing their previous high set on November 9 in the first game of the season - a 107-78 win over Louisiana Monroe.
