The Lubbock economy could see a 1.5 million dollar boost.

The Lubbock Economic Development Alliance announced three companies will be expanding here in the Hub City.  Those companies will be offering about 50 new jobs.

Osteogenics Biomedical, a company that makes dental products, will have nine new positions.  Mcpherson Cellars is opening a fully bonded winery in the Depot District; carrying seven new jobs with it.  Finally, Vertical Turbine Specialists, a company that makes vertical turbine parts, will have 35 new job openings.  VTS will also add about 1.2 million dollars to the Lubbock economy.
