Police continue searching for clues in the brutal stabbing death of a local college student.

Lubbock police have identified the victim as 19-year Bradford McIver, a South Plains college student. Police say friends of the victim found him dead inside his North Lubbock apartment around 6:30 Monday night and called 911.   They had gone to his apartment in the 700 block of North Indiana to check on him because they hadn't heard from him in several days. Police say McIver had been stabbed multiple times and it appears the last time anyone saw him alive was on Saturday.  Police say nothing was stolen from McIver's apartment, but there was evidence of a violent struggle.  Police have no suspects or witnesses at this time and a motive for the murder is unclear.
