Two Red Raider Baseball Players on Watch-List

Two Red Raider baseball player are named to the Brooks Wallace Award watch-list.
Sophomore outfielder Roger Kieschnick made the list after a freshman season of hitting for an average of .359, 9 homeruns and 55 RBI`s.
Junior catcher Matt Smith also making the list. Smith missed a portion of the the 2006 season with a knee injury. But did finish strong batting with a .377 average and 7 homeruns.
The Brooks Wallace Award will be handed out next summer at the United Spirit Arena right here in Lubbock.
