Initial Court Appearance for Members of Cocaine-Trafficking Organization

Members of a major cocaine-trafficking organization made their first appearance before a federal judge Friday.
Eleven of the thirteen members heard their charges Friday afternoon in Lubbock Federal Court. The group was taken into custody during multiple arrests Thursday in the
Friday, Christopher Rangel and Paul Rios were arraigned. Both men were charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess about five kilograms or more of cocaine. Both men pled not guilty.
