Lubbock residents voice their opinions on the punishment for convicted killer Rosendo Rodriguez.  Some of the people we spoke to have been following the trial; while others say they know the incident involving Summer Baldwin.

Whether they've been watching the trial all last week or not, many residents have an opinion on what type of punishment Rodriguez deserves.

"I'm to the tune of thinking that probably no less than life in prison.  No less,” says Rod Krebb, a Lubbock resident.

"I don't want to think that the human condition is such that it can't be rehabilitated, but much of the research shows that it just doesn't work,” says Billy Hull, another Lubbock resident.

"The line's drawn.  He drew it.  He drew the line in the sand when he acted as awful as he did.  And that's the consequences,” says Lanny Hemmings, a third resident of Lubbock.
