Cotton Kings Drop Tough One in Austin

Paul McBrien had a goal and an assist but it was not enough as the Lubbock Cotton Kings fell 5-3 to the Austin Ice Bats Thursday night. The Kings went into the third period with a 3-2 lead, but Austin scored three straight goals in under three minutes. Anders Strome made his 2007 debut in a Cotton King uniform after being traded from Rocky Mountain, Strome registered no points and had a plus/minus of -2.
