A fifth suspect is in custody for the 2005 murder of Bernard Wilson, the Lubbock teen whose body was found in Yellow House Canyon. Thamar Snyder had been in Phoenix, Arizona until this morning when she traveled back to Lubbock to turn herself in.

Snyder makes the fifth suspect now in custody for the brutal beating and stabbing death of 17-year-old Bernard Wilson. Carnell Littlejohn and Joe Ragan were the first two suspects to be arrested, both within 12 hours of authorities issuing the six warrants.

Last week, Wanda Wilson and her son, Leslie Evans turned themselves in, in Detroit. Both have waived extradition and should be back in Lubbock by the end of the month.

Meanwhile, the three suspects arrested are in the Lubbock County jail, all on a $500,000 bond each, as investigators search for the final suspect, Keyairra Brown. Authorities say Brown is more than likely not in the area.
