If the area around your Lubbock home isn't cleaned-up, you could soon be looking at a citation for violating city code ordinances.

Codes Enforcement Inspectors are out checking homes for violations.  So far, they've handed out hundreds of tickets and warnings for tall weeds, substandard housing, and junk vehicles.  They'll survey a different Lubbock neighborhood every three weeks through November to continue their crackdown on code violators across the city.
