attackad2008-05-01-1209694708.jpgMayor David Miller's latest ad says mayoral opponent Tom Martin intimidated a City worker in the late 1980's.

The ad is based off of accusations stated in the 2003 grievance case of Sharlett Chowning.

Chowning was fired form the City in 2003 and won a case over age and gender discrimination.

Chowing states in the ad that while meeting with Martin over an employee evaluation, Martin pulled out a gun and sat it on the table in an intimidating fashion.

While Miller says this is proof of Martin's alleged bullying tactics, Martin says the accusations are false.

Statements by former temporary city manager Tommy Gonzales say that these accusations were know around City Hall for years and could haunt the City later.
