VISITOR_SCENTER-VO2008-05-05-1210037696.jpgFormer mayoral candidate Mikel Ward is starting a consensus petition that will be given to the newly elected council in an attempt to derail the current visitor center plans. Ward says the cost is too high and there are other options.

Ward said she is not a visitor center, but there needs to be more research in to the cost and what would be most effective.
