cysticfibrosis2008-05-08-1210306013.jpgThis weekend you can walk to help cure cystic fibrosis! Many families in lubbock are dealing with cystic fibrosis, a disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. Hunter Anderson is just one of those affected by this life-threatening disease. The 13 year old says hes gotten used to treatments, but a cure would change his life. Hunter and his mother Deonna say the money raised at the CF walk is what will contribute to finding that cure. "Not a lot of people know about cystic fibrosis," says Deonna. "Once you can connect to someone that has it, you constantly want to come to the walk and support it, and thats what I hope that people do this weekend." Hunter says, "I just need to find a cure, I want to get me better, and plus, when I see all those people, I know a lot of people care for CF...which means they care for me."
